'Ipse dixit, et facta sunt: ipse mandávit, et creáta sunt'— For he spake and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm XXXIII.  Thus reads the inscription above Hieronymous Bosch's triptych the 'Garden of Earthly Delights'. I am fascinated by Bosch's interpretation of the world as all-encompassing and multi-faceted - and I try to apply this philosophy throughout my own work.

Finbar Madden is a well known illustrator and published poet. Born in Devon, he has been creating art and illustrations for forty years. He currently lives in the midlands of England.
